Project Engineer

Position Overview: The Project Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and technical support for construction projects. The Project Engineer will oversee the daily operations of the project, and will be responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and managing project resources. They will work closely with the construction managers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engineering expertise to ensure the successful execution of construction projectsManage and coordinate the design and development phases of construction projectsDevelop plans, schedules, budgets, and performance specifications for construction projectsMonitor and control project progress, costs, and qualityManage the technical aspects of project execution including design reviews, plan reviews, planning, scheduling, and materials managementProvide technical direction to subcontractors and other project stakeholdersPrepare and review change orders, RFIs, shop drawings, and submittalsEnsure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and lawsMaintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety regulationsQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field3+ years of experience in Engineering and Construction of Heavy Civil Construction, Asphalt Paving, Roads, and HighwaysStrong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and regulationsExcellent communication and problem solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentBenefitsWhat's In It For Me
