**Job Title: Project Engineer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and solar power generation. This role is responsible for field coordination, quality assurance, procurement tracking, and engineering support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical experience and the ability to collaborate with project teams in a dynamic environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from construction drawings, develop accurate cost estimates, solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors, and collaborate with project teams to ensure project scope, budget, and schedule are aligned.
+ Interpret project plans, specifications, and technical details for field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
+ Work with Site Superintendent and Project Manager to support field execution, ensuring quality and compliance with specification requirements.
+ Assist in obtaining and maintaining construction permits, coordinating fee payments, and tracking approvals.
+ Develop and maintain critical project documentation, including Material Tracking Lists, Project Test Inspection Records, Concrete Placement Logs, Non-Conformance Reports, and Close-out Documentation.
+ Implement construction quality management programs to meet engineering and regulatory standards.
+ Manage three-phase inspection systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
+ Establish testing protocols and coordinate with third-party inspectors as needed.
+ Promptly notify the Project Manager and Site Superintendents of non-conformance issues and ensure corrective actions.
+ Assist third-party testing and commissioning subcontractors with project-specific requirements.
+ Set up and maintain project submittals in accordance with contract requirements.
+ Work with the customer and engineering teams to obtain approval on procurement submittals.
+ Track submittals to align material deliveries with the project schedule.
+ Communicate the submittal requirements with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant.
+ Develop, distribute, and track Requests for Information (RFIs).
+ Assist with Change Order documentation.
+ Assist with drawing mark-ups and submittals for preparation of As-Built drawings.
**Essential Skills**
+ Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or related field.
+ 1-4 years of experience in renewable energy, EPC contracting, or construction-related field.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
+ Familiarity with construction law, contract management, and industry best practices.
+ Strong technical problem-solving skills with a team-oriented approach.
+ Effective communicator with the ability to interact professionally with clients, third parties, and fellow employees.
+ Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Office, Procore, P6, and Bluebeam Revu.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Mesquite,NV.
