Job Description

We are a leading medical device company seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical engineering, hands-on experience with SolidWorks and Windchill PDM, and a proven track record of successfully leading technical projects. This role requires a meticulous and innovative individual with expertise in fixture design, version control, and DFM/A principles. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

ResponsibilitiesLead and manage technical projects to ensure timely and successful completion.Design and develop fixtures for assembly and inspection processes.Utilize SolidWorks and Windchill PDM for mechanical design and version control.Implement Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/A) principles to optimize production processes.Conduct risk analysis and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve manufacturing processes.Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering drawings.Perform hands-on assembly and work with fixtures, tools, and procedures.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with 5+ years of relevant experience.Strong project engineering skills with experience in leading technical projects.Proficiency in Windchill PDM and SolidWorks.Experience in fixture design for assembly and inspection.Knowledge of version control and handling multiple versions of drawings and models.Hands-on experience with hand assembly, fixtures, tools, and procedures (DFM/A).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the medical device industry.Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in medical device manufacturing.Work Environment

Cubicle in an engineering office environment. The dress code is business casual. You will be part of a team in manufacturing that is focused on change orders of medical devices. The culture is deadline-oriented but very collaborative.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
