We are currently seeking a construction professional to grow into a Project Manager role. This individual will support the Project Management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and timely projects. The role involves reporting to a Project Manager and interfacing with Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain project logs (i.e., Submittal Log, RFI log, etc.)Maintain and update schedulesIdentify the need for and write RFIsPrepare, review, and process shop drawingsMaintain as-built drawingsAnalyze and draft Purchase Orders and Subcontract ScopesHandle material purchasing and expeditingManage and distribute documentsDevelop value engineering designs and proposalsCoordinate with Subcontractors and VendorsVisit project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to plans and standardsProvide the Project Manager with support and accurate information to maximize project management effectivenessEssential SkillsExperience in commercial constructionProject managementHandling RFIs and Change OrdersProject engineering and coordinationManaging submittal logs and shop drawingsSchedulingProficiency in Bluebeam and ProcoreAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Building Construction or Engineering (or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience)Preferably at least 3 years of experience in commercial construction (would consider a recent Construction Management graduate for the right candidate)Experience with computer software: Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPointUnderstanding of AIA Contract DocumentsThorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activitiesKnowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other construction documentsUnderstanding of Job Costs and Associated Cash-FlowPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $43.27
