Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Project Engineer to support a large digital enablement solutions provider local to Dallas Texas. As a Project Engineer, you will design, specify, and manage the installation of integrated systems into conference rooms for fortune 500 customers. You will oversee projects from award through completion, ensuring quality and completeness of the Scope of Work (SOW). Your responsibilities include identifying special requirements such as test equipment and specialized tools, and providing technical oversight on commissioning systems both in-house and on-site. You will develop engineering and architectural drawings, review hour estimations, and address technical impediments. Additionally, you will test and troubleshoot audio DSP or video processing systems, and provide weekly project updates. Effective communication with internal employees, clients, and colleagues is essential. The role requires advanced computer skills for AV equipment design and configuration, and the ability to travel to various job sites. This individual should have a strong background in AVI Project Engineering, specifically with conference rooms.

Skills and Requirements
3-5 years of experience working in the Audio Visual Industry.
1-2 years of experience working with the design and management of conference rooms.
Must currently have or have previously held a CTS certification.
Must have completed a Creston training course or currently hold a Creston certification.
Understanding of basic IP networking
Ability to diagnose complex system problems, specifically with applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebX, Etc.
Advanced computer skills in order to successfully design, configure, and operate AV equipment.
Experience creating CAD and/or tableau drawings.
Experience working on AV projects that required the installation /configuration of dynamic microphones CTS certification
Bachelors degree null
