Responsibilities:
Oversee technical execution of a project (or aspects of a project) in collaboration with the Program Manager, technical leads, and the Chief Engineer.Serve as focal point for Configuration Management of project technical data.Ensure adherence to company/industry standards and processes for safety, design, quality & workmanship (including IPC, AS9100, MIL- and SAE-).Oversee integration activities with key Subcontractors and Suppliers, including development of Specifications and Statements of Work; provide technical oversight of supplier deliverables, EVM performance, qualification & acceptance testing activities.Interface with customers, peer contractors and field service staff to support operations.Support proposal development, forecasting and project estimating activities.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's of Science degree in a related field of study and typically, 8+ years of progressive technical experienceKnowledge of engineering principles and practiceExperience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamBasic understanding of requirements management, system design, integrationThe ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is requiredQualifications We Prefer:
Typically 2-4 years of relevant leadership and/or project management experienceExperience leading a multi-disciplinary design and development team and communicating with program management and customersFamiliarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and program cost and schedule managementPast history of leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternativeAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedureProfessional Certification in Program Management International (PMI) and/or Program Management Professional (PMPBackground in the Aerospace and Defense IndustrySNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
