Our Technology Center is home to a team of globally recognized engineers and scientists who provide innovative mining, processing and environmental solutions to our operations throughout the world. Our employees make use of state-of-the-art laboratories and test facilities, including a fully automated analytical lab – the first of its kind in the Americas. Employees provide direct support in a variety of areas: mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, analytical chemistry, mineralogy, process economics, mining and geology.

**What You Will Do**
+ Assists in the review, investigation and development of appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projects.
+ Participates on small to medium site construction, expansion or modification projects.
+ Administers contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
+ Develop working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations appropriate to area of assignment.
+ Performs other duties as required.
**What You Bring To Freeport**
+ Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline with no experience required.
+ Knowledge of the principles and practices of Engineering.
+ Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
+ Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
+ Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Strong safety knowledge with a commitment to safety.
+ Ability to commute from Tucson and Safford on a regular basis.
+ Project Management knowledge.
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Team leadership skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced/dynamic environment.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Structural engineering, or closely related.
**What We Offer You **
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently **$76,000-$104,000.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
