Job Summary:
As a Project Engineer II, your role will encompass a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other members of the engineering team and operations, you will plan and schedule capitol projects by defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation and risk management plans. Set milestones and ensure projects stay on track and communicate with key stakeholders. Lead cross- functional teams, including contractors, designers and technicians foster collaboration and communication throughout the teams. Manages project budgets and ensures financial objectives are met. Ensures that quality standards and project requirements are met and implements quality control processes on regular inspections. Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications and progress reports. Manages stakeholder expectations and innovates feedback into projects. Manages safety programs and procedures to exceed company goals on both leading and lagging indicators. Supports continuous improvement of Production, Safety and Food Safety management systems. Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.Skills and Competencies:
Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives. Operations management responsibility in a 24/7 operation. Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative spirit. Desire to learn with a strong work ethic. Strong background in engineering principles with a combination of hands on and analytical skills. Ability to identify problems early and develop innovative solutions.
