Project Engineer II Energy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

Project Engineer II is responsible for supporting the project team on larger construction projects. The role assists a project manager or managers to successfully coordinate a project using the necessary engineering, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and subcontracted services.

 

What you’ll need to be successful:

 

Knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, lighting, controls, generation, and water systems. Ability to read design and construction plans, project submittals, control diagrams, etc. Basic skills that will include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports, labor feedback entry and purchase order entry. Ability to prepare equipment delivery log and track status of these orders. Strong financial acumen in project management. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to procure, manage and update the submittal process. Ability to communicate with field foremen to write and track RFI’s both internally with our design department and externally with the architect or other designers. Competent with general business writing and public speaking. Has competency in basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office products.

 

 

What you bring to the table:

 

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, 3+ years’ experience in related field. Experience working with a mechanical contractor and supporting project work or as a design engineer who wants to get into operations. You should have some experience and knowledge of HVAC systems and design. If you have Design Build experience, that's a plus!

Pay:  Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (Colorado/New York City/California/Washington) this ranges from $98,248-$127,722 plus annual incentive, benefits and retirement program as outlined above.
