Mechanical Project Engineer Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our team at a manufacturing facility for Tesla batteries in McCarran, NV. This role involves working on a battery line project in an office trailer with 4-5 office spaces, providing an excellent opportunity for growth and development in project management. Responsibilities + Review and understand project technical requirements + Data entry for field verifications + Technical document tracking (RFIs, SDDRs, FCDs, etc.) + Verify compliance with basic project requirements + Work under the direction of the lead Field Engineer Essential Skills + Basic understanding of mechanical systems including piping, HVAC, and plumbing + Capable of reading and comprehending project specifications and technical drawings + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) + Bachelor’s degree or technical certificate in mechanical engineering preferred but not required + 1-2 years of professional experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical engineering or construction management experience + Outgoing personality, able to talk to other people, comfortable asking questions, understanding requests, and replying to the team + Open to Sr level project engineers with the goal of becoming a Project Manager and building a team Work Environment The work environment includes an office trailer with 4-5 office spaces. The onsite work hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM.
