We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our International Program team located in Poway, CA. This position will focus on development projects pertaining to our MQ-9B RPA platform. This is a multi-faceted role dealing with a wide variety of skill sets and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. Under general supervision with limited review, this position is responsible for determining and developing effective approaches for resolving a wide range of difficult engineering problems. The position will include working with engineering leadership, program management, and customer representatives to develop and execute development, test, and sustainment programs for international customers. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Work with the Systems & Project Engineering IPT Lead to fulfill the technical obligations of the International Customer Program requirements. + Work with Program Management to plan engineering activities and deliver engineering products in accordance with customer contracts. + Support operation of engineering systems by evaluating and interpreting needs, and develop effective approaches to resolving those issues. + Develop engineering estimates and proposals in response to customer and program management direction. + Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair systems in assigned area by utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles. + Provide documentation and make technical presentations as required. + Direct the activities of designers, technicians and may direct the activities of less experienced professional staff. + May represent the organization in providing solutions to technical issues associated with specific projects. + Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. + Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
