Project Engineer - PW

A Project Engineer job in West Palm Beach, FL is currently available at Belcan. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor of Science degree in the engineering field, preferably Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the aerospace industry, preferably with gas turbine design.
Job Duties:
* Candidates will be leading teams and working to manage customer tasks, create engineering schedules, coordinate engineering changes, assist engineering leads through design processes, determine risks associated with missed schedules, and status work with the customer for technical status, schedule, and performance.
* Candidates are expected to manage the daily/weekly activities of those on their team, and report status to technical leads and project managers.
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in the aerospace industry, preferrably with repairs.
* Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited institution.
* Candidate must have experience working with Project Schedules and Project Planning.
* Must have very good communication skills, good problem solving skills, and willingness to be a self starter.
* Extensive Microsoft Office Suite experience, esp. Microsoft Project.
* Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
