Responsibilities include:

Manage and lead a team of talented staff members to ensure successful completion of engineering project deliverables to meet all technical, quality, financial and project controls expectations, including:Conveying scope of work to team membersControlling changes in scope   Status and tracking progress of project scope/schedule/budget Maintaining clear and consistent exchanges of information between client and team membersLeading routine status meetings both internal team members and clientTracking and resolving open items and emergent project issuesInterface with the client managers, stakeholders, and implementing personnel to validate scope and ensure client satisfactionIdentify and follow up on client needs that may result in strategic business opportunitiesLeverage good client relationships to develop follow-on work from existing clientsAssist in the development of project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex modifications at nuclear power plants Assist in the Development of proposals for Engineering modifications at nuclear power plants Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

An Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited engineering programEffective written and verbal communication skills to convey information to project team members and clientTen or more years of experience in the design of engineering systems for nuclear power plantsFive or more years experience in leading an engineering design team through all phases of a project designExperience with serving as firm/client liaison in a support or lead engineering roleProficiency with MS Office applicationsDetail oriented approach to workCapable of being badged for unescorted access to a nuclear station
