Job Title: Engineer - Water and Waste Water

ResponsibilitiesAssist with scope of work and bid package development.Solicit contractors and suppliers.Participate in pre-construction and ongoing meetings.Maintain project schedules and distribute them to the project team weekly.Arrange and track all permits, drawings, and submittals as required.Process change orders and back charges.Record all labor, equipment, and other job cost quantities daily/weekly.Code delivery tickets for payment.Produce and distribute production and cash flow reports.Assist with project closeout, including final quantities, change orders, and final releases from agreements.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; Master's degree preferred.Five to seven years of progressive construction-related experience.Experience with Excel, Word, Primavera (P6), Prolog/Expedition, and CAD or other design software.Strong working knowledge of CSI codes, specifications, and standards.Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ADOT and construction companies is a plus.Knowledge of production methods and coordination of people and resources.Ability to read plans and specifications.Strong follow-through on delegated tasks and assignments.Ability to produce timely results of high quality and accuracy.Capability to work on multiple projects, adjusting quickly to shifting priorities.Ability to handle pressure situations with owners and other constituents.Willingness to travel as needed.Work Environment

The work environment involves working on heavy civil and underground water and wastewater projects. The position requires proficiency in various software tools, including Excel, Word, Primavera (P6), Prolog/Expedition, and CAD. The role may require travel and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.E

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
