Core Responsibilities
Owner’s mentality to ensure that standards and processes are consistently applied but also pressure-checked to ensure that they are still serving a business purpose in a collaborative manner (both with vendors and clients)Strong technical facilities background to be able to answer the tough questionsTracks facility industry technology and trends to contribute to planning current and future facility design.
Develops engineering Owner’s Project Requirements, reviews technical drawings and narratives, signs off on design, reviews submittals, and answers project RFIs.Manage the building commissioning program including ownership of standards and management of 3rd party providers.Develops and maintains the long range capital replacement plan for the Vanguard building infrastructureEnsure seamless handoff from project to operations teams through project closeout and trainingProvides subject matter expert input to engineering related matters for all project workManage the small project execution team that does high volume, small dollar project work to enable business teams across all Vanguard locations (domestic and international). Workstream includes extensive furniture reconfigurations as well as simple room conversions.Builds a problem-solving cultureManagement and development of a blended team of Crew and ContractorsSets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
