Project Engineering Manager
Our client in the industrial engineering sector is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, core people skills, and exceptional communication skills which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Project Manager **Location:** Cortland, NY **Pay Range:** $80,000 - $110,000 **What's the Job?** + Effectively manage life cycles of one or more concurrently running projects from conception through achievement of project goals and objectives, and to final closeout. + Promote positive team member and customer relations by supporting commitment to a working environment of tolerance, acceptance and civility. + Maintain regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance, as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction. + Actively and positively participate in problem resolution, demonstrating constructive communication, timely response and effective resolution skills. Work effectively within team environments both within your department and across the organization. + Cooperate and comply fully with all policies and procedures. Actively support and follow the Safety Program. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor’s degree in Business with a Project Management concentration, or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, plus a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing projects in a complex industrial environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Previous experience managing large capital projects and/or equipment builds, plus prior management experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Planning or Supply Chain, preferred. + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred. Six Sigma Black Belt certification, a plus. + Proficient computer skills using a variety of software applications systems, specifically those that facilitate project management. Proficient in Microsoft Officer Suite. + Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
