Job Description

This position has a high impact on production and revenue risk, and is a fast paced role interfacing with Cross functional teams like Engineering, Supply chain, Marketing, & customer support team across various sites of Honeywell. Be responsible for coordinating resolution of component obsolescence issues impacting supported products. Each OMT is comprised of representatives from Components Engineering, Product Engineering, and Materials Management LTB Planning and Procurement, and Marketing and Product Management (M&PM.) The OMT Case manager manages resolution efforts for issues impacting Product business performance with the Product Managers in M&PM and prepares Customer Business Team Program Managers for obsolescence updates to our customers. They occasionally interface directly with both customers and suppliers. Position is located in Bangalore

 Skills Needed:

- Good knowledge on complete Product development stages & functions in electronic

   Products.
- Knowledge of Aero Material and Sourcing strategies and initiatives.

- Understanding and experience with Obsolescence Management processes

- Knowledge of alternative methods to avoid last time buys (LTBs) such as Technology Transfer, Die Bank, Design Transfer, etc.
- Six sigma Green Belt Certified

- Excellent communication & presentation skills to present to executive leadership.
- Cross-functional ISC and Engineering/Technical background preferred.
- Working knowledge of Integrated Product Delivery and Support process preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of Product Data Management (PDM) systems, SAP
- Ensures effective change control and identifies risks / opportunities. Timely  

   Escalate risk/ issues.
- Solution provider for a project & get the solution validated from Subject Matter   

   Expert if required. Take leadership and ownership of the obsolescence solution for respective sites/product line.
- Risk assessment and prepare mitigation plan.
- Overall project management & control along with stakeholder management (all   

  Agencies associated with project).
- Demonstrated teamwork and facilitation skills to effectively work with internal and

  external stakeholders.Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master degree in Engineering/ Supply Chain Management/ Business
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Integrated Supply Chain or Engineering fields
