Job Description

We are seeking a Project Environmental Scientist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This individual will manage environmental investigation and remediation projects, deliver technically excellent services, prepare technical proposals and reports, conduct environmental research and analyses, supervise field investigations, and manage staff. This role offers the opportunity to develop project and staff management skills, interact with clients, and work on both small and large-scale projects.

ResponsibilitiesManage environmental investigation and remediation projects from start to finish.Deliver technically excellent services and ensure compliance with NJ and PA regulatory requirements.Prepare technical proposals, reports, and conduct environmental research and analyses.Supervise field investigations and manage staff.Interact with clients and ensure client satisfaction.Perform site recovery, hazardous waste investigation, soil and groundwater investigations, remediation, and industrial/brownfield site redevelopment.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering.6+ years of related work experience.Proficient in environmental due diligence.Experience managing remediation projects from start to finish.Hazwoper training.Understanding of NJ and PA regulatory requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster's Degree.PG, PE, LSRP, or LEED AP certification.Work Environment

This role offers a flexible work schedule with 2 days from home and 3 days in the office. The position may require travel to job sites to oversee field activities. The work distribution is approximately 70% in-office project management and proposal writing, and 30% on-site in PA & NJ. Our company is ranked in the top 50 ENR companies to work with worldwide.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $1235000.00/yr.
