Project Estimator
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Project Estimator to join one of our top Fortune 300 companies in the Richmond, VA area. In this role you will be working in downtown Richmond on a hybrid schedule of 3 days on-site 2 days remote each week. In this role you will support the power generation capital projects by estimating and sometimes managing capital projects from start to finish. Requires motivation, minimal supervision, and effective communication. Must qualify for fieldwork (confined spaces, climbing, respirator use). Key Responsibilities:  Estimate utility construction projects ($500K - $200M).  Support annual Capital Budget with up to 500 estimates.  Provide estimate support during regulatory reviews.  Assess project financial risks with the team.  Identify and estimate project costs (labor, materials, etc.).  Manage selected projects (capital improvements, demolitions, outages).  Ensure site safety and compliance with regulations.  Obtain necessary permits and ensure contractor compliance.  Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource procurement.  Coordinate engineering resources and maintain project scope.
