This role offers hands-on experience in the full life cycle of development projects, from initial planning to completion. The Project Finance Associate will support project leadership in ensuring timely and high-quality execution of projects while gaining exposure to key aspects of real estate development, including land use coordination, financial modeling, deal structuring, and project management. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist in project setup, including budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and logistics planning + Conduct research to support development functions such as acquisitions, market analysis, construction costs, and entitlements + Prepare pro forma development budgets and property operating budgets under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer + Assist in preparing financing applications and proposals, particularly for projects with multi-layered financing sources + Support land and building acquisitions, including due diligence, contract preparation, and financial closing coordination + Monitor project timelines, track key performance indicators, and assist in budget forecasting and adjustments + Solicit, review, and manage consultant and contractor services for due diligence, design, and construction + Assist in the submission and management of project costs, change orders, and pay requests + Support construction administration processes by coordinating document flow and assisting with project scheduling and close-out + Participate in project quality reviews, site visits, and coordination of project deliveries **What we’d like you to bring to the opportunity:** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience + General knowledge of real estate development principles and practices + Experience in multi-family or mixed-use residential and commercial real estate transactions is a plus + Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, tax-exempt bond financing, New Market Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, or AHP grants is a plus + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with adaptability in fast-paced environments + Experience with subcontractors, construction contracts, and project management is a plus If you’re passionate about real estate development and eager to grow in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!
