Roles and Responsibilities: Financial Strategy and Leadership: * Develop, implement, and manage financial strategies and systems to support project execution, working closely with project managers, the finance team, and senior leadership * Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budget forecasts, and project cost reports, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including business development and program operations) to align project financials with the overall strategic goals Budgeting and Forecasting: * Lead project budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring adherence to approved budgets, and identifying financial risks * Provide regular updates on financial performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary * Analyze project financial data and present actionable insights to senior management Deltek Costpoint Management: * Oversee the administration and optimization of Deltek Costpoint for all financial management and reporting activities * Ensure accurate project accounting, cost tracking, and invoicing using Deltek Costpoint * Provide training and support to project staff on the effective use of Deltek Costpoint to monitor project budgets, expenses, and revenue Compliance and Reporting: * Ensure compliance with donor regulations, internal policies, and international accounting standards * Prepare and submit financial reports to donors, project stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as required * Manage audits, ensuring full compliance with financial reporting and accountability standards Team Leadership and Development: * Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts and accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance * Coordinate with the Human Resources and Project Management teams to ensure financial staff are well-supported and trained
