Project Financial Coordinator
Job Description One of our environmental consulting companies is actively hiring for a Remote Project Financial Coordinator. This role provides project financial support to Project Managers including project opening, and invoicing and/or cost and/or project status tracking utilizing their project accounting system as well as specialized project software. This team supports construction, federal, commercial, state & local government projects. This is a fully remote position. Job responsibilities include: - Assist Project Managers with project/contract management and administration. May include the following: - Initiation and modification of system project set-up to ensure timely and accurate tracking of project status, costs and resource utilization, - Development of cost/schedule control tools to guide project team to a timely and profitable outcome. - Review, analysis and reporting related to sales, contracts, work-in-process, current project status and performance, earned revenue reports, variance reports, suspense reports and all project-related correspondence -Track project budgets and status and provide appropriate reports to project leadership. Track at risk projects and prepare report updating status of budgets and change orders. - Perform project invoicing for assigned group of Locations/OUs/PMs in adherence with defined schedule. - Process and track project closeouts We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 3-5 years related experience Costpoint experience OR Deltek Advanced in Excel, specifically pivot tables Aptitude for numbers and strong analytical ability, detail-oriented Understanding of GAAP Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
