The Project Foreman is a key position on our active construction projects. The Project Foreman will coordinate operations and oversee workers on the construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, this person will be a key person for the completion of a project.
\nThis is a perfect role for an individual who wants to secure a career in construction.
\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n\nCoordinates tasks according to priorities and plans.\nConfirms schedules and monitors the attendance of crew.\nConfirms tradespeople are accounted for and documented in ProCore.\nGuarantees all safety precautions and quality standards are met.\nSupervises the use of machinery and equipment.\nAccountability of opening and closing the site daily.\nResolves problems as they arise.\nReports on progress to managers, engineers, etc. both in Word and ProCore.\nManages material deliveries.\nHandles project take-off’s / in-depth knowledge of construction materials.\n\n RequirementsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
\n\nMust be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients.\nKnowledge of remodeling, reconstitution, restoration projects (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)\nProficient in Word, Excel and Microsoft.\nKnowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety.\nKnowledge of governmental safety requirements is a plus.\nProfessional communication skills (in writing and verbally).\nInterpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.\nTime management and time critical prioritization.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nMay be required to provide own basic tools (power drill, power saw, screwdrivers, level, hammer, etc.)\nHigh school diploma or GED required\n3-5 years of related experience\nTravel currently within St. Petersburg area only, but potentially throughout the US later on.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
\n\nAbility to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders (1-2 stories) up to 24 ft.\nAbility to operate technology equipment like smartphones & email software for day-to-day operations, communication, and monthly expense reports.\nMust be able to operate a vehicle from one location to another.\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis.\nMust be able to sit, stand, bend, pull/push, grasp, twist, reach above shoulder, walk, stoop, kneel and climb.\nTypical outside work environment year-round(frequent standing, walking, lifting and/or operating powered equipment using proper safety techniques or tools), exposure to elements like rain, heat or cold.\nOvertime may-be required (on-call rotation)\n\n#LI-LM1
