Key Responsibilities:
Planning Geology Projects: Plan and organize geological projects, considering project goals, timelines, and resources.Gathering and Analyzing Geological Data: Collect field samples, conduct surveys, and analyze data to understand Earth's composition, structure, and processes.Studying the Earth's Crust and Various Materials: Examine rocks, minerals, fossils, and other materials to uncover valuable resources and assess their potential for economic development.Fieldwork: Spend time in the field, visiting sites of interest, conducting surveys, and collecting samples.Technical Report Writing: Write detailed reports based on fieldwork findings, data analysis, and research.Project Management: Manage logistics, project schedules, and oversee fieldwork activities.Coordination and Oversight: Coordinate and manage geologic fieldwork projects, ensuring efficient execution and accurate reporting. This includes managing logistics and project schedules, conducting fieldwork and site investigations, and assisting technical staff in data management, evaluation, and reporting under the direction of a senior professional.Daily Responsibilities:
Responsible for their own schedule, balancing fieldwork and office work to meet project deadlines.Skills:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Geology or a related scientific field. They have a tuition program and are open to candidates who have a few classes left or are nearing the completion of their degree.Certifications: Valid US Driver's License, clean driving record, 40-hour HAZWOPER and API (training provided if necessary).Experience: 3-5 years (ideally 5 years), with a range of 3-7 years being acceptable.Experience Level:

The pay range for this position is $35.10 - $45.00
