Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Geologist to join our team. This role involves planning and organizing geological projects, gathering and analyzing geological data, and conducting fieldwork. You will study the Earth's crust and various materials to uncover valuable resources and assess their potential for economic development. You will be responsible for technical report writing, project management, and coordination of geological fieldwork projects.
ResponsibilitiesPlan and organize geological projects, considering project goals, timelines, and resources.Collect field samples, conduct surveys, and analyze data to understand Earth’s composition, structure, and processes.Examine rocks, minerals, fossils, and other materials to uncover valuable resources.Spend time in the field, visiting sites of interest, conducting surveys, and collecting samples.Write detailed reports based on fieldwork findings, data analysis, and research.Manage logistics, project schedules, and oversee fieldwork activities.Coordinate and manage geologic fieldwork projects, ensuring efficient execution and accurate reporting.Blend fieldwork and office work to meet project deadlines.Work with different client managers to assist with permitting sites and other tasks.Essential SkillsDegree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or a related scientific field.5-7 years of experience, with 7 years being ideal.Strong fieldwork d.Experience with technical report writing, gas station site remediation, soil vapor, groundwater sampling, project management, field sampling, environmental science, geotechnical, remediation, soil testing, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, construction, and environmental engineering.Valid US Driver's License and a clean driving record.40-hour HAZWOPER certification and API certification (can be provided if not already obtained).Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Geology or a related scientific field.A tuition program is available for candidates who have a few classes left or are nearing degree completion.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.10 - $45.00
