Overview TRC is seeking a Project Geologist or Environmental Engineer in our Bellevue, WA office. This position would work closely with Project Managers and technical leads performing remediation, investigation, monitoring, facility compliance, permitting, process, and other environmental activities to serve our clients. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and personable individual with an eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a desire to be part of a growing and high-performing team. Responsibilities Support environmental assessment, remediation, and compliance projects in the field and office. Perform a variety of field work including environmental assessments, environmental investigations, site inspections, feasibility tests, remedial implementation, and subcontractor oversight. Interpret geological and hydrogeological and chemical data. Support management of large and complex tasks to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Prepare and review technical reports (e.g. feasibility studies, work plans, and reports in support of environmental assessment, investigation, and remediation projects). Assist during proposal development, including preparation of work scopes and budgets. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience, Environmental or Civil Engineer from an accredited university required. 3-6 years of experience in environmental consulting with focus on investigation and remediation projects. Geologist-in-Training (GIT) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred. 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate (with current 8-hour annual refresher course certification). Exceptional interpersonal skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills allowing for positive internal, client, and contractor relationships. Knowledge of Washington State and Federal environmental regulations (MTCA, RCRA, etc.) preferred. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
