Job Description
We are looking for a Project Geotechnical Engineer/Manager to join our Philadelphia, PA team. This individual will play a crucial role in providing geotechnical engineering expertise through geotechnical analysis and design, managing projects, supervising staff engineers, and interfacing with clients.
ResponsibilitiesProvide geotechnical engineering expertise through geotechnical analysis and design.Manage projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.Supervise and mentor staff engineers to ensure project quality and efficiency.Interface with clients to understand their needs and deliver satisfactory solutions.Conduct field investigations and construction observations.Prepare and review technical reports and proposals.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s degree with Geotechnical emphasis.PE license.6+ years of related geotechnical experience.3+ years of field experience with geotechnical investigations and construction observation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in PA and NJ.Technical writing skills.Construction planning abilities.Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment, starting with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. After a few months, the schedule will shift to 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. The Philadelphia office has a team of 90 people, providing a reputable firm with potential for upward movement. Employees enjoy 2 weeks of PTO with additional comp time available, free lunch every Wednesday, free breakfast every Thursday, and a $500 home office stipend.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $123500.00/yr.
