We’re looking for a Project Lead for Riyadh, who will be working with and for the Operations and Project Management Team in AES Middle East, you will frequently be the on-site “face” of Aggreko Events Services and Transactional Business. Responsible for the site delivery of customer requirements, management of the on-site team and operation of the project.
Provides on-site supervisory support to AES project team and manages the delivery of Events projects. Also provides leadership of the on-site delivery team, manages the day-to-day work schedule and provides customer support on-site to ensure a successful delivery of installation, operation and demobilization at a project site with particular attention to operational efficiency, safety, quality of solutions and implementations and customer satisfaction

What you’ll do:

Manage the on-site team effectively.Liaise with the customer and its representatives on-site.Manage the installation, operations and demobilization of Aggreko equipment at the venue of responsibility.Regular liaison with the Project Manager and Operations Planning Manager on all aspects of the site operation.Revise the design during installation and assist in producing the AS BUILT drawings.Notify the project manager and client of any variation in design.Maintenance of all documentation and records as required.Any other duties considered essential for effective operations and services.Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence activities.Aggreko places a strong emphasis on Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental protection. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and local legislation, and ensure completion and validity of all minimum QHSE training and objectives required by the company.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

A Project Management qualification is desirable but not essentialElectrical qualifications preferred and understanding of BS7909City & Guilds, NVQ or similar qualification in electrical installation with an understanding of BS7909, refrigeration or mechanical engineering would be preferred, or experience in the events business working in a similar role (possibly gained over a period of 5 or more years).Experience in people management & operations sites is essentialSolid technical background - in electrical distribution systems, generator operations, fault diagnosis testing and commissioning procedures.Major event, entertainment or television broadcast experience utilizing specific distribution equipment relating to the event industryManaging in a Health and Safety cultureConfident to manage small to medium teams directlyComputer literate – competent user of MS Office software packagesBasic ability in Auto CAD LT would be an advantageAble to multitask and priorities workload effectivelyExcels and works well under pressureCommercial awarenessEffective communication and interpersonal skills with the client, the team and internal stakeholdersHighly efficient time managementSelf-drivenTeam playerAbility to use initiativeEffective and rapid problem solvingAttention to detailPersistence and determinationMust hold a full valid driving licenseWilling and able to travel extensively within the country and work away from home for extended periods.Will be required to work regularly at the weekend and on National Holidays especially during peak events seasonsHigh standard of both spoken and written English language
