Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers andQuality division based in Bangalore, IndiaYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tReviewing of technical specification of DCS cabinets and designing the cabinets to meet the customer specification. •\tCoordinating with customer and cabinet integrators (vendors) and estimation of hardware cabinets etc•\tCoaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.•\tCollaborating on project installation, commissioning and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.•\tApplying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronic engineering discipline.\tMore than 8 years of experience in cabinet designing or hardware engineering with lead capability.\tWork experience in Automation Proposals (DCS/ ESD/ FGS) for process industries\tHaving good knowledge in review of RFQ, understanding the scope, preparation of cabinet drawings (GA/IGA/Schematic/BOM)\tExperience in preparation of deliverables - system architecture, bill of materials, general arrangement drawings, schematic etc
