PROJECT LEADER
Location: Rychnov nad Kneznou
Reporting to: EEM CTO
Purpose of the Job: The job holder will be responsible for project management of industrialization of electromechanical locking products.
Principal Responsibilities:
Leading the industrialization part of the NPI/CPI projects from manufacturing perspective. Working closely with EMEIA DAS project teams for new product developments. Drive execution of the projects in Operations in accordance with the plan of the entire product innovation projects. Main contact person for EMEIA DAS project managers, as a project role Operations/Manufacturing. Consolidating and streamlining the cooperation between manufacturing site and business product owner. Leading internal EEM projects related to electromechanical business (e.g. updates of production and testing equipment, process improvement projects,…). Coordinating the local manufacturing team and reporting the progress to EMEIA DAS. Reporting the project status, schedules, achievements to EEM management. Manage and control local project finances and resources.
Applicant Qualifications:
Electronics engineering and/or mechanical engineering background, with experience in project management. Experience working with a phase gate development process, agile and scrum methodologies. Solid technical understanding of RFID, UHF, BLE, battery powered devices, access control. Solid understanding of computer networks, IT technologies, software & firmware development. Experience of working in a multicultural team and in an international environment is essential. A collaborative mindset with an open attitude to learn new things. An open mind and transparency in results and obstacles. A “can do” attitude with the ambition to solve the upcoming obstacles together with a strategic attitude for securing the solutions into the regular processes. Prepared to travel on occasion within EMEIA. The ability to work in another major European language as well as good English language skills.
