The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Project Manager to oversee inventory management for a large-scale project based in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of inventory management and leading a team of site labour to ensure equipment is staged appropriately for installation.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Coordinate and manage inventory for the project, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment.Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of site labor, providing direction, support, and training to ensure efficient and effective operations.Project Coordination: Work closely with project stakeholders to develop and implement logistics plans that align with project timelines and objectives.Equipment Staging: Ensure all equipment is staged appropriately for installation, coordinating with installation teams to meet project requirements.Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality standards for inventory and equipment, addressing any issues promptly to minimize disruptions.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, project progress, and team performance to senior management.Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a project-based environment.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
