Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. We are looking for an experienced project manager with top-notch communication skills, Jira administration knowledge, and leadership experience to manage multiple initiatives in Ally Auto Consumer Operations Shared Services (ACOSS) team.

The Principal - Project Management provides direction to project, service, and/or solution teams. Responsible for the deliverables, cost, schedule, quality, and completion of the project. Develops/ reviews/approves project plans, manages issues - risks, contributes to issue resolution, directs staff. Work with resources from matrix organization to accomplish project tasks and maintains control over the project(s). Monitors the progress of the team, which may include Ally employee and/or vendor team members, informs the team of its progress and provides the team with support and direction.

The project manager expected to drive improvements within ACOSS project management processes and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholder customers.

The Work Itself Demonstrate knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and other project management methodologies and concepts Lead with a “customer first” servant attitude while collaborating with product management, business partners and technology teams in translating the product vision into a working plan. Provides direction and oversight to project teams to design, develop, deploy, and sustain solutions that meet applicable business requirements. Identify and manage project risks/issues to closure and provide proper visibility to senior management and escalate when appropriate. Ability to facilitate working sessions to capture detailed requirements and to assist business partners to write user stories. Provide transparency to stakeholders and senior management team; manage expectations and communicate effectively. Manage multiple project teams, which may include Ally employee and/or vendor team members, informs the team of its progress; leads/develops Ally staff members. Engage in and fully support Ally’s LEAD Core Values, a culture of Diversity and Inclusion, and employee engagement. The Skills You Bring Bachelor’s degree required with a preferred focus in Business, Computer Science, IT, or similar field  Strong background in project management, process improvement and Agile methodology 6+ years' experience working as a project or program manager in traditional waterfall or Agile environment required Agile/ Scrum, PMI certification (CSM, PMP, ACP etc.,) from accredited institution Ability to manage multiple projects with medium to large in complexity, size, and scope. Ability to thoroughly understand the business issues surrounding each project. Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple initiatives and efforts and respond quickly to a changing environment with minimal supervision. Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail with excellent verbal/written communication skills Experience influencing/managing teams, including matrix partners. Ability to function as the primary interface between multiple business teams and groups. Ability to manage project issues and conflicts, and deliver projects within budget, scope, and time.  Ability to negotiate and build consensus with various stakeholder groups. Communicate effectively across multi-vendor environment. Ability to deliver quality solutions to customers and develop process improvements where applicable. Base Pay Range: $90000 - $150000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.  Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
