We are searching for a Project Management Consultant on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) This person will manage Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship process. It requires knowledge of labor compliance rules, specifically recent IRA regulations for PWA. Knowledge of data entry systems for wage and payroll data such as LCP Tracker or similar are preferred. The person will be overseeing the compliance aspects of a construction project related to prevailing wage laws and registered apprenticeship programs, ensuring that all workers on the project are paid the correct wages based on their location and trade, and that a designated percentage of the workforce consists of qualified apprentices, as mandated by federal and state regulations.

Key responsibilities
Compliance assessment:
Analyze project scope and identify applicable prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements based on location, project type, and funding sources.Wage determination review:
Access and interpret prevailing wage determinations from the Department of Labor (DOL) to accurately calculate hourly rates for different worker classifications.Contract review and development:
Ensure project contracts with contractors and subcontractors include clear provisions regarding prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance.Apprenticeship program coordination:
Facilitate communication with registered apprenticeship programs to identify qualified apprentices for the project.Documentation and reporting:
Maintain detailed records of worker classifications, wages paid, apprentice hours, and other compliance data for audits.
