Scope of role
The Regal Rexnord Industrial Powertrain Solutions PMO is looking to grow our team. We are a collaborative dynamic group supporting Strategic Business Initiatives, Digital Transformation Teams, and IT. We spend our days maturing our PMO Practice and supporting projects ranging from internal process improvements to large scale ERP Deployments. The PMO has reached scale and requires a PMO Coordinator. Are you ready for a career in Project Management? Are you organized and a strong communicator? As part of the PMO Team, The PMO Coordinator works across the projects that the office runs, offering support for the projects and PMO functions. The PMO Coordinator is vital to keep PMO functions and projects running smoothly.
This position is located at Regal Rexnord’s downtown Milwaukee, WI site. They need to be located in the Greater Milwaukee Area and willing to be in the MCS HQ Building 2-3 days per week. 100% on site is not required but face to face meetings will be important. Given some projects will be global, some flexibility in works hours may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling meetings within the PMO, taking minutes and tracking resulting actions
Organizing the timing and resources for training, specific for project teams and PMO resources
Maintaining task and issue logs for the projects they administer
Completing cost sheets and timesheets where required for projects or programs
Assisting with project schedules and plans when changes get signed off by managers and leaders
Keeping records and handling documentation that projects produce, and entering data needed to generate PMO reports
Ensuring that projects have administrative resources such as the right templates and documents to complete for each project stage
Communication across the office, projects, and project stakeholders with information requests, schedule updates and reports.
High level Smartsheet administration including User and Group Administration
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline/equivalent).
2-3 years Smartsheet experience including exposure to Resource Management and Control Center
Must be organized with strong communication skills
Attention to detail
Must manage time effectively
Ability to work in a team but also independently
Effective problem-solving with ability to resolve individually
Fluent in Microsoft Office Products: Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
IT or Project Management background a plus
