Job Title: Module Project Manager - Vehicle SuspensionsJob Description

As the Module Project Manager in Vehicle Suspensions, you will participate in stream project meetings for the complete VTNA project portfolio. You will represent the Vehicle Suspension Team during the development of product solutions until their introduction in our factories. Your technical expertise combined with strong interpersonal skills will enable you to communicate the vehicle suspension group status for all projects, as well as project needs to the engineers in our group. You will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art research and development environment dedicated to providing quality transportation products to the North American market.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure new designs fulfill business targets, requirements, and Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature targets, and communicate the status to the product streams.Front-load work to ensure robust early-stage releases and stable late-stage releases.Maintain brand reputation by assuring compliance with all applicable vehicle regulations.Secure the development of modular systems and components to optimize part diversity.Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality readiness before release.Communicate active project deliveries during daily team leadership meetings.Create or support team leaders in creating features for each Product Increment and secure that plans meet the product streams' needs.Essential SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.6-8+ years of experience in product development in the transportation industry, preferably in truck development.Knowledge of class 8 heavy duty trucks chassis structure, axle, suspension, and vehicle dynamics.Basic CAD (CREO-AVP) experience.Project management experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Steering and Suspension Systems.Previous product ownership experience.Official project management certification.Agile framework experience and knowledge of DVP.Ability to take initiatives to optimize systems, processes, and methods.Experience working with engineers and designers on-site and at development centers around the world.Work Environment

You will work in a technical center with an open work environment. Lockers are available for storage.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00
