Job Description Qualifications:

The Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems Division of Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Project Management Specialist to serve as a part of the Program Office supporting B61, High Altitude Anti-Submarine Warfare Weapon Capability (HAAWC), Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), and Cruise Missile Systems Programs in St. Charles, Missouri.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Lead and Senior Project Management Specialist.

High Altitude Anti-Submarine Warfare Weapon Capability (HAAWC) is a USN program that includes production and sustainment.  Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) is a USAF program that includes production, contractor logistics support (CLS) and development efforts.  The B61-12 is also a USAF program consisting of production and long-term sustainment. The Cruise Missile Systems team is engaged in production and delivery of the legacy Harpoon missiles as well as the development and preparation for transitioning production to the SLAM ER, Harpoon II Update, and Harpoon Coastal Defense System cruise missile systems.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads the responsibilities of the Program Integration Office across the complex production, sustainment and development programs,

Manages implementation of Program Management Best Practices across Functional teams,

Analyzes requirements and translating into action plans which become well-executed,

Drives improvements, visibility tools and replication across the Direct Attack and Cruise Missile System programs.

Oversees critical communications, and building healthy relationships, with USAF and USN customer.

Contributes to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact to Direct Attack, Cruise Missile, and PES Leadership.

Leads process improvement, and replication, initiatives focused on enhancing execution.

Works with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance to drive integration, continuous improvement, and efficiencies through the lifecycle of multiple program platforms.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

Manage, develop, and motivate employees to combine the team’s energy and expertise to achieve a common objective and attain higher levels of performance.

Develops key metrics to track progress across the organization and provide status briefings to Direct Attack, Cruise Missile, and PES Leadership.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelors degree or higher

Experience in program or project management

Experience leading projects using Project Management Best Practices and tools

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

10 or more year's related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Typical Education & Experience:

Lead (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 5)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range for Lead Level: USD $107,950 – $146,050

Summary pay range for Senior Level: USD $132,600 – $179,400
