The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Project Management Specialist to support our government customer located in Arlington, Virginia. (Potential for 1 day/week telework, as operations dictate.)
This role reports to the PEO MLB Chief of Staff, located at Naval Support Facility-Arlington. The PM Specialist plays a key role in attending senior meetings and composing/coordinating meeting notes, capturing and tracking official taskers and coordinating with staff to action those tasks. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and self-starter who can collaborate with internal/external partners to maintain and enhance the flow of operations.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independently lead and manage a robust correspondence campaign to capture formal senior leader discussions and coordinate actions with the staff. Plan and attend senior level meetings to capture professional notes for record and action items to track for collaboration/completion. Coordinate and facilitate the completion of tasks to support business operations. Manage the tasking program of record for executive level actions. Provide comments, questions, and recommendations to establish and improve business operations and collaborate with staff to implement those procedures. Collaborate/coordinate the executive products and establish a SharePoint and Teams presence to store, recall and share the documents. Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor’s Degree, plus three (+3) years’ relevant experience.

Prior Navy or Marines experience highly desired (active, reserve, guard or civilian) or prior DoD experience desired.
