Job Overview


We are seeking a Project Manager for a newly created opportunity to support our S/4HANA transformation initiative. This role will assist the Project Director in managing project execution, working closely with the SI Partner PMO to develop and enforce project plans, timelines, and governance standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate stakeholder communications, oversee budgeting and resource planning, and ensure seamless integration with SI Partners to meet project milestones and quality standards. This position can be based at our office in Milwaukee, WI, or Chicago Suburbs, IL (Near O'Hare). 

Key Job Responsibilities Align with SI Partner PMO to provide support for all S/4HANA transformation workstreams. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Conduct project stakeholder meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and key decision points. Develop and track project performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide status reports to project leadership. Identify, document, and manage change requests, ensuring they align with project objectives. Assist with the planning and coordination of key project events such as system testing, training, cutover, go-live, and hyper-care. Support organizational change management activities. Coordinate daily project operations, including scope management, scheduling, and issue tracking. Monitor project milestones, timelines, and deliverables, escalating issues when needed. Facilitate cross-team collaboration and regular communication across the project team. Enforce project management standards and methodologies for consistent program execution. Conduct project reviews and post-implementation assessments for continuous improvement.
  Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field. 6+ years of experience in project management, preferably in SAP or large-scale ERP transformations. Project management certification preferred Strong background in project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Experience in working with global teams across multiple regions. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software  Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, software development, and network management

Hiring Range 

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $100,000 - $125,000 annual base salary. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
