Project Manager, Commercial
The Project Manager, Commercial role serves as a pivotal layer of accountability aimed at growing Commercial gallons. It drives connection between AAE’s, Account Execs, Commercial Reps, Property Management Reps, and Commercial Branch Locations regarding project awareness and management. The Commercial Project Manager ensures projects are assigned, followed up, and tracked from inception, to design, to specification, to completion, to maintenance. This role works under the supervision of the Area Vice President of Sales, allowing resources to be assigned where the need is highest by District. Responsibilities + Dodge My Projects Utilization + Filter and import high value projects from Dodge to My Projects. + Assign projects to the appropriate Branch, Commercial Rep, AAE, and Prop Mgmt using the territory spreadsheet. + Update project statuses and details in My Projects. + Communication & Tracking + Monthly emails and update on project status, follow-ups, and accountability. + Use of trackers for different project stages (e.g., Paints Awarded Tracker) + Assign follow up tasks and due dates to monitor status of projects. + Monthly Meeting with Commercial Reps to review key projects, discuss next steps, and project statuses. + Support and Additional Engagements: Be available for additional guidance or to join calls to assist with My Projects related queries. Qualifications FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: + High School Degree Preferred + Bachelor’s Degree KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: + 5+ years relevant Sales & Marketing, Project Management Preferred: + Strong written and oral communications skills + Experience with data technologies and tools. + Ability to lead projects, facilitate meetings, and follow up action items. + Ability to lead and influence without direct authority. + Ability to utilize Continuous Improvement tools and processes. + Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: + Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing + Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. + Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required. + Travel: 10% TECHNICAL SKILLS/REQUIRMENTS: + Holds an in-depth knowledge of business processes and has ability to work with diverse functions. + Balances and monitors complex requirements, flexibility, and deadlines for our company with the need to develop Area-wide standard + Participates in the implementation of system upgrades and future enhancements, as well as rollouts of business applications to other operating units or countries.
