Project Manager, Digital Product
Job Summary
Viking is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Digital Product team. Reporting to our Lead Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal part in driving various key strategic initiatives, such as the development of our new unified native app and the enhancement of Adobe customer journey experiences.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Scrum and project management within technology / digital environments and a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex projects to successful completion – on time, on budget.
This position is included in our hybrid work policy and is required to work in person from our Woodland Hills, CA office every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for key digital initiatives – on time and on budget. Project coordination, scoping, tracking action items, maintaining project schedules and milestones. Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks to project success, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Ability to anticipate, report and mitigate issues that will impact schedule / quality. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, QA, scrum masters, designers, marketing, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. PMO Standards: Implement and maintain project management standards, tools, and best practices to ensure consistent project delivery across the Digital Product team. Organize and maintain project artifacts. Resource Allocation: Coordinate resources across projects, optimizing team productivity and project efficiency while managing competing priorities. Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders on project status, milestones, and outcomes. Facilitate effective communication across all project teams. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and alignment with overall strategic goals. Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to project initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption and transition across the organization. Scrum Master/Team Management: Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos, and retrospectives. Remove impediments and coach the team on agile best practices
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of experience in technical project management and Agile/Scrum, with a focus on MarTech, digital products, web application development, customer experience projects, and systems/data integration. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project). Experience with Scrum and or other Agile methodologies with a demonstrated understanding of SDLC. Experience managing web and mobile app development projects, data and systems integration projects, and familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud products (e.g., Target, Launch, AJO) is a plus. Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive collaboration across multiple teams, departments, and external vendors. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences. Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and competing deadlines. Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for delivering superior digital experiences that align with customer needs and expectations.
What We Offer You
Highly competitive compensation plan. Salary range $135,000 - $160,000 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations. Employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonus. 401(k) plan with company match.
