Position Summary:
McCormick & Co.’s Global Marketing organization is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, well-organized Project Manager, Digital Experience to oversee global website development projects. This role plays a key role in connecting our agency team and internal project stakeholders—including Digital Operations, IT, Global Marketing and business partners—advising on solutions and ensuring seamless planning and execution of all website projects. With a strong grasp of project management principles and a highly technical background with sound understanding digital creative needs, this manager will bring strategic insight and creative understanding to web projects, from discovery, development and deployment. This role reports to the Director, Global Digital Experiences and sits within the Global Digital Experience team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee website development project, specifically focused on key website redesigns, coordinating across stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and on brand. Develop and refine project scopes, timelines and deliverables, ensuring clarity and alignment across key stakeholders. Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Advise on systems, frameworks, and content requirements best suited for each project’s needs. Help to select the right tools, platforms, and integrations to achieve project goals effectively. Brief creative resources on website content requirements, including, but not limited, images, video, graphic design, and copy. Manage review and approval with key brand and Global Marketing partners. Facilitate communication across teams to maintain transparency and manage expectations.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree - Marketing, Communications, Information Technology Acceptable driving record including valid driver's license required 5-7 years of experience in website development project management. Proven knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Solid experience in project scoping and client-facing communication. Experience working across creative and technical teams, as well as communicating with leadership stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an aptitude for problem-solving. Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to connect the dots and proactively identify and mitigate issues. Ability to work collaboratively with both external vendors and agencies as well as internal Marketing and IT teams Ability to clearly translate technical matters and “web-speak” to other partners within the organization. Ability to give creative direction for both visual design and copy that results in engaging and on-brand deliverables Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and time management with on-time delivery is critical to success MBA or advanced degree in a related field (preferred) Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; certifications in project management (e.g., PMP); and marketing/advertising agency experience are pluses. Base Salary: $86,390 - $151,220
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
