Project Manager, EPIC Home Infusion Implementation

Job Details:

The Project Manager, EPIC Home Infusion Implementation, is responsible for organizing, managing, and executing complex projects related to EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) implementations with the home infusion module. This role requires extensive experience with EPIC and involves acting as a consultant on behalf of health systems. The Project Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations to support health systems in servicing home infusion patients.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Leads cross-functional teams to successfully implement EPIC EMR project for health system clients and the associated home infusion module.

Delegates project tasks based on team member expertise and project needs.

Provides guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

Develop and refine implementation processes and best practices to optimize home infusion project execution.

Partner, support, and collaborate with health system leadership in designing, implementing, evaluating, and managing EPIC EMR projects, with an emphasis on the EPIC Home Infusion module.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables specific to home infusion services.

Serve as the primary liaison between the CarepathRx, health system stakeholders, and EPIC representatives (as applicable) to ensure successful implementation of home infusion workflows.

Identify and address project risks, issues, and roadblocks, providing mitigation strategies as needed.

Facilitate communication between technical teams, clinical staff, and operational leaders to ensure alignment with project goals

Create and present project-related documents, reports, and materials to key stakeholders

Keep all stakeholders informed of project status, changes, and milestones.

Ability to travel up to 50% per month, depending on project requirements.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on EPIC EMR implementations, particularly within the EPIC Home Infusion module.

Healthcare industry experience required, specifically within home infusion services.

Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Professional Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM) is preferred.

EPIC certification(s) strongly preferred but not required

Proven track record of successfully managing complex EMR implementation projects, including those involving home infusion services.

Strong understanding of EPIC modules, workflows, and best practices, with specific expertise in home infusion patient management.

Prior experience working in a consulting capacity is preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with health system clients.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them effectively.

Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
