The Project Manager, EPO, plays a critical role within the Ford Credit, European Project Office (EPO), responsible for managing and socializing project management principles and tools to business led project managers. This includes supporting the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager, EPO will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and other EPO members to ensure effective and standardized project management principles.

This position can be based in either Dunton or Cologne and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the office for typically 2 to 3 days a week.
3 years’ experience in project management, leading significant scale business and technology projects, ideally including financial services. Strong understanding of both traditional and agile project management methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Rally). Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and lead cross-functional teams. Ability to work with an ambiguous problem/project scope and able to identify opportunities for process improvement and systems development. Ability to identify and articulate potential solutions, business benefits, risks, and dependencies. Candidates will be Prince 2 certified (or equivalent) or will be expected to complete the certification program.Desired:
Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing a project office in a complex organizational structure. Experience in setting up and managing a hybrid project management model. Help design and implement our change management and hybrid project management model, aligning with organizational goals and objectives. You will manage governance structures, processes, and standards for project management across the organization. Support and train business led project managers in both traditional and agile project management methodologies. Track project portfolio against plan, identify and manage risks and issues, and provide regular status reporting to Ford Credit Europe’s leadership team. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the EPO's processes and tools. Encourage innovation and adaptability, ensuring the EPO remains agile and responsive to changing business needs. Coordinate and manage project resources effectively, including internal staff, external vendors, and budget allocation.
