Job Description
The Project Manager, Intellectual Property will be responsible for managing large, complex, new and existing IP strategic projects as well as IP process initiatives with regional & global teams. This position will gather information by working collaboratively with the necessary IP personnel in the management of all levels on the implementation of strategic project initiatives as directed by the IP Chief of Staff and Global Head of IP.
Responsibilities include: the planning of all project activities; synchronization of activities and deliverables; management of project schedules, resource requirements, risk assessment and project investment analysis/budget.
The incumbent is responsible for both directly and indirectly driving program execution and all associated efforts including management of third-party vendors (as needed). The role will be responsible for aiding the team in business case development and ensuring that the program activities meet internal and external customer requirements and follow Global PMO Processes, including progress reporting and reviews by senior IP leadership.
Job Duties The IP Project Manager will join the Intellectual Property team and support it with various legal and technical project requests. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute projects related to intellectual property, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project. Perform financial analysis on costs, benefits, ROI to guide decision making. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and timely escalate issues as necessary. Work closely with team members to optimize productivity and resolve issues. Prepare and present project updates to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as law firms and government agencies. Continuously monitor and improve project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Perform project management tasks for system migrations upgrades and implementations as needed. Support cross-functional change management through proactive assessment of upstream and downstream impacts of change requests both by IP, Legal, and non-Legal stakeholders. Promotes consistency of intellectual business and systems processes across all IP functions and drives continual improvement and alignment. Train and mentor junior project managers and legal team members on project management best practices. Job QualifictaionsRequired:
Bachelor’s degree required. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in the Legal industry. This includes managing budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables for complex projects.
Preferred:
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Office 365). Proficiency using Project Management software such a SmartSheet. Proficiency using Power BI.Why join Olympus?

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $103,779.00 - $145,290.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
