Job Description
The It’s About Time team partners with U.S. Commercial in-field partners and other stakeholders for increasing the operational effectiveness of the U.S. Commercial in-field organization by implementation of new business processes and continuous improvement of those that already exist. This group also assists in managing the change that results from changes due to business need, processes or technology, including coordinating efforts with stakeholders such as in-field tools, Finance, HR, Learning and Development, etc.
A successful candidate will be responsible for working with the It’s About Time team and cross-functional partners to ensure the successful execution and implementation of It’s About Time Initiatives.
The Associate is responsible for supporting the cross function operational projects and initiatives that drive commercial strategies across U.S. Commercial Operations. This position reports to the Director of Operations Excellence. As the Associate for It’s About Time – Field you will support projects led by the IAT Associate Directors and IAT Director, that streamline or eliminate unnecessary administrative burden for U.S. Commercial employees. You will work with various AbbVie functions, Sales Management and the field sales force to deliver customer centric solutions. The position requires the ability to support – scale complex projects including multiple interdependencies as well as management over others without direct authority.
Key Job Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
+ Supports multiple projects managed by the IAT Associate Directors and IAT Director and consistently meets expectations.
+ Translate conceptual ideas and visions into concrete deliverables, visuals and measurable results.
+ Effectively communicate with in-field team customers, cross functional partners and stakeholders so that all parties understand the purpose and direction of any initiative.
+ Understands business needs and has a thorough knowledge of the dynamics of the in-field team including tools used and processes followed.
+ Executes in-field team immersions to understand current dynamics of in-field team and brings insights back to the IAT team to share more broadly with the organization.
+ Ensures quality and effectiveness of key results of major projects through sound design, early risk assessments, and implementation of fallback strategies.
+ Support the communication strategy of the It’s About Time team with the IAT champions by collecting, compiling and creating communications to the field that are clear, concise and consistent.
+ Manages the in-field team immersions for the IAT team.
+ Primary Point of Contact for the IAT team for the logistics of town halls and other sales meetings where sales professionals are gathered and It’s About Time has a presence. Manage logistics of breakouts, displays and other activities undertaken by the It’s About Time Team.
+ Manage the content and logistical maintenance of the It’s About Time team’s ReelTIME asset by collecting and publishing videos to enhance field agility.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 3 years of project management experience
+ Strong operations experience managing projects and service delivery against targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
+ Possess proven project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously in complex organization matrices
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Recent Field Sales experience is highly preferred
+ Field Tool (iREP, 1view, CTE, etc) experience is highly preferred

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

+ This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.

Salary: $91,500 - $173,500
