Project Management:
Support the Director of Marketing in the execution of effective communication strategies for marketing initiatives for individual communities. Including traditional marketing such as Direct Mail as well as digital tactics. (paid ads, online advertising, seo etc.)
Track appropriate metrics for marketing activities using results to drive process improvements and RIO
Managing timelines and assets for direct mail pieces with external creative vendors as well as printers.
Ability to write creative briefs for direct mail development and overall schedule of campus events and mailers
Manage adding all event content to websites and testing through to CRM to ensure working properly.
Manage communication for promoting to social media
Work with sales teams to obtain necessary materials to finalize all marketing pieces.
Manage eblasts from content delivery to QA testing and blasting as well as main calendar with e-blast vendor.
Main lead on all website updates for all community websites.
Mail List management for all direct mail and eblast (obtaining lists from our database, clean up, and manage vendor send)
Support internal Share-point for all sales and marketing needs
Managing design projects with additional internal departments (Annual Appeal, HC, HR, finance, etc.) and proofing all files.
Main point of contact for special projects as needed
Reporting, Metrics, and Continuous Improvement:
Maintain and monitor call tracking at each of the communities for training purposes and accurate tracking of lead source origination.
Maintain and monitor form routing to ensure accuracy
Handles requests for call tracking and form routing changes and new employee setup and training
Vendor/Conference Management:
Direct external vendors including consultants, design firms, ad agencies, copy writers, and other vendors. (Printers, Creative, Digital)
Facilitates and confirms all conference bookings and needs. Stays on top of all submission dates for speaking opportunities.
Training:
Participate in key sales training and marketing presentations as necessary.
Train new sales team members to the Lead Management System (LMS) and provides refresher training on new functions within the LMS for existing users.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required Degree: High School diploma
Preferred Degree: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, English
Experience:
5+ years of related experience in marketing, or a service-related field
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Knowledge of continuing care retirement communities sales process (senior living) preferred but not required
Proficient with several software applications including: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel), CRM platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, and able to learn other applications.
Knowledge and proficiency in understanding and leveraging the various communication channels (media, web, print, electronic, social media platforms)
Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast paced, collaborative environment
Must have the ability to communicate effectively in the English language
Customer-driven, self-motivated, proactive, flexible person that consistently meets commitments and exhibits a high level of integrity.
Proven ability to manage a budget effectively.
Excellent presentation and communication skills with a variety of customers and stakeholders.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret statistical data and understand marketing trends.
