The Project Manager, Product Change role in Mondelēz organizational structure is responsible for managing projects focused on business changes in our key iconic products – for example product innovation, pack change, quality improvement, limited edition - from project initiation through to implementation & launch.
This role interfaces extensively with Consumer Marketing, Customer Development / Business Planning, Finance, RD&Q, Quality, Legal, Consumer Insights and all functions within Global Supply Chain (Procurement, Artwork, Manufacturing and Customer Service and Logistics), to deliver projects within the specified time, cost and quality parameters.
Responsibilities:
Project planning: facilitation of the definition of project scopes, goals, tasks and resource (people and cost) requirements; Cross-functional project team management; identifying and engaging cross functional representatives forming a team to deliver the project briefMonitoring project progress and provide corrective action if necessary.Maintaining project documentation and reporting to communicate clear status of projects, key timings, issues & risksMaintaining quality communication with all functions engaged in the project, including raising profile of projects through representation of projects at senior forumsEnsuring that suitable risk assessment and contingency planning takes place - to keep the project on track, accelerate or stop the project if the business need existsEnsuring that project scopes and timing take into consideration minimizing waste (raw, pack write-offs) and unwanted complexity (utilizing existing asset platforms, SKU proliferation) to the business systemEnabling best practice sharing by ensuring all projects are properly closed and key learning’s are documented and preparing project evaluations when requiredInitiation of finished goods Master data setup and communicate completed information to all stakeholders so all systems can be properly set up to produce, ship, sell and invoice our products. Ensuring correct Product Labeling Specifications (PLS) handling, Artwork process coordinationand Co packing handling.
Qualifications:
Solid Project Management experience and Project Management process knowledge, preferably in New Product Launches or Product ChangeWorking knowledge of the supply chain and basic supply chain principles an advantageQualifications – degree level or equivalent, Project Management qualification an advantageFMCG experience a benefitAbility to demonstrate strong meetings management, advanced facilitation and communication skills across a broad range of stakeholdersStrong presentation skills to influence at a senior levelStrong initiative to problem solving and framing alternative solutions and driving deliveryProcess oriented – ability to monitor, measure, reportHigh level of experience with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.Initial team management experience a plusThe responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
