Job Description

Global Product Innovation is a very exciting place in Brambles where you would get to support the creation of transformative products for our customers in a global team, as well as significantly contribute to the overall Brambles strategy and objectives.  The Core Product Innovation Workstream is responsible for the end-to-end ideation and launch of new pallets as well as supporting our enterprise ambition to digitize all our assets. 

Position Purpose

Overall delivery responsibility for the portfolio of projects within the Core Product Innovation workstream ensuring the successful delivery of the objectives as defined in the Program/Portfolio Strategy.

Lead all aspects of one or multiple projects, from planning through to implementation and tracking, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and in alignment with internal standards and frameworks.

Major/Key Accountabilities

Lead the planning and execution of a portfolio of projects, ensuring key milestones and project goals are met.Collaborate with enterprise program/portfolio management teams to align projects with business strategies and objectives.Aggee and manage project governance, including Steering Committees and Sponsorship Groups, ensuring timely decisions and follow-ups.Oversee the execution of change management strategies, including training rollouts and communication plans.Manage project dependencies of the portfolio, ensuring alignment with BAU activities and other projects in the enterprise program.Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, summarizing progress, priorities, and key decisions.Ensure adherence to PMO governance, implementing standardized tools and processes to maintain compliance and quality control.Manage project budgets, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.Oversee the transition of solutions to business-as-usual support, ensuring smooth handover and operational readiness.Conduct lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and share best practices across the organization.Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, resolving issues, and driving project success.Identify and manage the benefits that individual projects will have on the whole program and define the benefits owners.Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, group marketing and communications teams to ensure risk control, successful project rollout and streamline communications.Engage and work with partners, vendors, employees, and agencies to ensure success of projects.Contribute wider awareness and understanding of effective project management across the wider team enhancing the organizations project management capabilities.

Qualifications   

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related fieldProject management qualification or equivalent

Experience

Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation, ideally within a global context and feel comfortable with managing different time-zones.Experience working in a matrix organization and managing cross-functional teams.Knowledge of project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.Experience on both project management methodologies: Waterfall and Agile.  Strategic Thinking: Ability to align project objectives with program goals and priorities.Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.Resilient, not afraid of getting challenged.Has a bias for action and driving results and is able to multi-task. Product innovation and Supply Chain knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
