The Project Manager RWD will work with colleagues from Sales and Delivery functions to support definitions for Data and Evidence deliverables tailored to the needs of pharmaceutical clients. This role involves developing detailed delivery plans for client projects, including output definitions, delivery timelines, and performance metrics. The purpose of the job is to effectively drive the success and customer experience of our Real-World Data (RWD) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) deliveries. This position is US-based, with a preferred location in the Eastern time zone.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with colleagues from Sales and Delivery to define Data and Evidence deliverables for pharmaceutical clients.Develop detailed delivery plans, including output definitions, delivery timelines, and performance metrics.Support contracting with new Data Partners and manage ethics submissions needed for studies.Coordinate multiple delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on scope, time, and budget.Manage Risk & Issue logs.Track actual vs. planned effort levels and develop action plans to address variances.Work with Finance to issue correct and timely invoices and update project revenue recognition assumptions.Develop high-level project workload estimates, timelines, and costings.Take ownership of customer-facing relationships post-contract award.Liaise with clients from multiple functional areas and organizational levels as the primary client-facing role on won projects.Manage client satisfaction on project deliveries and contribute to the growth of business in key pharmaceutical accounts.Essential SkillsExperience with RWD (Real World Data) and RWE (Real World Evidence).Proficiency in project management and project coordination.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Experience working for or with pharmaceutical companies.Understanding of key processes in bringing pharmaceutical products to market, including Regulatory Approval, Health Technology Assessments, and Pricing & Market Access.Experience in managing healthcare evidence generation projects.Experience with data such as Electronic Health Records, Registries, Biobanks, and Chart Reviews.Understanding of methods to manage and transform Real World Data (ETL, distributed data queries, federation, natural language processing).Familiarity with healthcare data standards and models (OMOP, EDTM, CDISC).Additional Skills & QualificationsMasters or Doctorate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline.Experience in managing ethics submissions to Institutional Review Boards.Experience in identifying and contracting with sites, and consenting patients to studies.Excellent networking abilities.Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.Work Environment
This position is 100% home-based, with a preference for candidates on the East Coast who can operate on East Coast hours. The role involves collaboration with international/global partners in the US, Europe, and Asia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58.00 - $70.00/hr.
