Project Manager, Retail Technology Implementations, Brampton, ON


Our company is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Project Manager to oversee the implementation of retail technology solutions in new store openings across Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including planning, ordering hardware, deploying systems, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors such as IT companies and construction firms. This role requires a strong problem solver with excellent communication skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

Develop comprehensive project plans for the implementation of retail technology in new stores and pharmacies.Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, schedules, and budget.Monitor project progress against timelines and deliverables.Manage the procurement process for all necessary hardware required for store openings.Oversee the deployment of technology solutions including POS systems, inventory software, networking equipment etc.Act as the main point of contact between internal (IT, Operations) and external vendors (construction firms, IT service providers).Facilitate regular status meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and progress.Effectively troubleshoot any issues that arise during implementation stages promptly address them accordingly finding viable solutions mitigating risks associated therein avoiding potential delays hindering progress adversely affecting overall completion targets set originally planned out earlier stages.Extensive Travel is required

What You Bring:

Proficiency in Business Administration/Management Information Systems/related field preferredProgressive experience working Project Management preferably within Retail Industry specifically involving Technology Implementations.Excellent organizational abilities, capable prioritizing workload delegating responsibilities appropriately amongst team membersStrong problem-solving analytical skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal relationship-building capabilities
